Our lessons are private, semi-private, or group. We teach english style riding and also offer cart driving lessons and scenic cart rides down Memory Lane. Our newly constructed fenced outdoor riding ring with premium footing allows for an excellent place to ride.
Memory Lane Farm offers private, semi-private, and group lessons designed to teach effective communication with horses and build strong foundational skills that advance each rider’s abilities. Our experienced instructors and quality horses ensure every lesson is safe, educational, and enjoyable.

Lessons are offered at affordable rates for riders of all experience levels, with private, semi-private, and group formats available. Private lessons are $150/hr; semi-private and group lessons are $120/hr.
Memory Lane Farm welcomes riders of all ages and experience levels, from young beginners to adults. Lessons are held Monday through Friday from 3:30–5:30 PM.
No prior experience or horse ownership is required. Instruction is tailored to each rider's skill level, and riders are matched with a horse suited to their comfort and ability.
Yes! At Memory Lane Farm, we teach both English and Western riding.
While the disciplines differ in overall style, purpose, and rider posture, the most noticeable difference is the equipment. Western saddles are larger and feature a front horn for stability, whereas English saddles are smaller, lighter, and designed for closer contact with the horse.
Memory Lane Farm is located at 9 Memory Ln in Greenwich, CT, directly on the Greenwich Riding Trails. Trail riding is available in addition to structured lessons.
Lessons are taught by Jessica Owen-Smith, a lifelong equestrian who has ridden since childhood, along with the farm's team of experienced trainers.
