We understand that plans can change, especially when you have children and busy family schedules. To help us keep our lesson schedule running smoothly and ensure that we can offer lesson times to other students, we kindly ask for at least 24 hours’ notice if you need to cancel or reschedule a lesson.
At Memory Lane Farm, our lesson schedule is carefully structured to provide personalized attention and dedicated care for both our riders and horses. When you schedule a lesson, that time slot and horse are reserved exclusively for you.
To ensure fairness to our instructors, support staff, and fellow riders, we strictly enforce the following cancellation terms:
24-Hour Requirement: We require at least 24 hours’ notice prior to your scheduled lesson time for any cancellations or rescheduling requests.
Late Cancellations & No-Shows: Lessons canceled with less than 24 hours’ notice, as well as “No-Shows,” will be charged in full. Full payment is required for missed sessions without appropriate notice.

Riding is an outdoor sport, and lessons run as scheduled in most typical weather conditions.
Light Rain & Mild Weather: Lessons will proceed as planned during light rain or cold weather. Please dress appropriately for the weather and bring a raincoat when needed.
Severe Weather Closures: Cancellation decisions due to dangerous or severe weather (such as heavy storms, high winds, or extreme ice) are made solely at the discretion of Memory Lane Farm.
Farm-Initiated Cancellations: If Memory Lane Farm cancels lessons due to inclement weather or unsafe riding conditions, you will not be charged, and we will work with you to reschedule your session.
